About what SAT II scores should you have for Penn? Is anything above 700 okay, or do they look for 750+?

(Just generally--not taking into account the rest of the application.)

I got a 2390 over 3 tests. Chem made me cry. I really wanted to retake the 790. Then again, I'm not too dumb. There are lots of dumb people at Penn (and even Harvard,Yale, Stanford, etc). Maybe you can be one of them?

A lot of people here have 750+ for SAT2's

My two highest SAT II scores were 690 and 740, neither of which is 750+. So do the best you can, but if you don't hit the upper-700 region, don't fret, since it's only one part of the app.

(And since people are being pretentious, I'd bet a lot of money that my SAT I score was higher than most of yours, the better SAT II scorers.)

A major reason why my SAT II scores aren't 750+ is because my high school doesn't offer AP classes, so I obtained those scores through much self-study and from having only learned the coursework of a standard high school class, not an advanced one... Penn probably took that into account.

Typically though, I'd say most Penn kids' SAT II scores average in the low-700s.

800-mathII
740-bio
740-us history
670-chem

and i got in. so only one above 750...but i applied to the engineering school so math was more important. chemistry idk what happened..my teacher kinda sucked.

Thank you! I was wondering if I should retake a 730 after the first two posts...but I guess not?
