<p>Should I take the SAT Subject test Math 1 or Math 2? Which is easier to prepare for, and what do colleges care about more: A high score on Math 1 or a lower but still good score on Math 2?</p>

<p>If colleges do appreciate any, they usually let you know it.
Sat math 2’s curve is more liberal (you get 800 with ~7 mistakes), level 1 is more strict - you do not make mistakes yo get a 800; so the scores of 2 tests can be compared.
If you are planning to major in math, engineering etc., than you might consider level 2.
I am going to do both and send both, thus letting the colleges decide, which score to consider.</p>
