I am taking AP U.S. history and I plan to take the SAT II U.S. history on June 2nd, I bought Barrons sat II but it got some bad reviews on amazon, so I was wondering if I should buy a different book. I also have amsco for AP U.S. If anyone has any advice that would be great.

DO NOT USE BARRONS FOR SAT II USH! I'm not even joking, heed the Amazon reviews. Not only are the questions outdated and in the wrong format, they are impossible to answer. Just study for both the AP and the SAT II using AMSCO. I did just that and got a 5 on the AP and 800 on the SAT II. But don't use Barrons!

bump.....................

use REA's AP US History Test Prep book which comes with a CD. I used it to study for both the AP and the SAT II (5 and 790). It's pretty good for studying, though the questions are slightly different. Barrons' questions are kind of difficult; it didn't really help me all that much.

ouch. i've been prepping from my world history from barron's.

is kaplan any better?

i'll tell you 3 weeks from saturday ;p

kaplan's is nice... but you should have something to supplement it
