SAT II United States History

NOOOOOO 720ish!!!! im going to go cry.

Eh? How come we can't remember #90?! I'll think about what it was...

"Positive its March on Washington.

The other options were like baseball teams, department stores, and something else i cant remember. The answer was (E) though, Motion Picture palaces"

Hmm. What made March on Washington so much more "united" than the Bus Boycott?

Pretty sure I chose professional baseball for that other one. Didn't think pro baseball existed in the 1880s.

haha so, if I got about 15 wrong none omitted, what do you think my score will be???? i'm worried

the march on washington just seemed like a biggerr deal to me - hundreds of thousands of people

there werent motion picture palaces in the 1880s, but there probably were early pro baseball teams

15 wrong is a 71, which corresponds to a 740 in blue book and possibly higher after this test.

UCLA : if it happens that you missed one and everything else was messed up, u can always pay them $50 to regrade by hand lol

amin, seriously?! I definitely would have thought it was lower. Wow, pretty good for not studying! Thanks :)

the elusive #90!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

where's the most updated list?

Lols...it is very elusive, isn't it? Ugg...can't think of it...but sophia1090 posted the list on a separate thread.

i got 7 wrong, maybe 8 if i got the last one wrong. SO do you say that's an 800 :(

i hope so grade inflation, hopefully they curve it like 3 points better than they usually do :-P need 750!

grade inflati0n i think you're definitely good for an 8. that's an 81 raw, which was 800 even on the 2nd blue book cb test, which was extremely easy.

Yeah, I would say so gradeinflation. Eh...right now, I got 4 wrong for sure...there are 3 questions that are still being debated, so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for an 800...

haha thanks!!! and special thanks for everyone who compiled all the answers ;)

Aight, so all you trade restriction haters listen up--

Due to the many trade restrictions put on the colonies pre-1763, such as the Hat Act, Iron act, Wool act, as well as the Navigation Acts,.. the colonies were unable to manufacture their own goods and had to supply only the raw materials for Britain, so they could manufacture themselves. The capitalists of that time were unable to produce what they wanted to, and therefore British goods flooded the market. After America achieved independence, they encountered many economic mishaps because they were unable to sustain their own economy, without the help of Great Britain. Inheritance laws were not a big deal at all.. do you recall learning of anybody protesting inheritance laws?? Just the very fact that colonists tried to smuggle is proof that they resented the trade restrictions

Sorry for this crazy long post lol
