I have a strong interest in Biology and I want to pursue something in that field later. However, a lot of my friends and teachers think that I should take Chemistry instead because colleges think chemistry is a harder course and it'll be more beneficial in admissions.

Can anyone tell me if this is true?

No, they're pretty much viewed in the same light.

The subjects you choose should be the ones you are strongest in.

Yea, you might as well take bio. It doesn't matter which ones you take, but since you want to pursue bio, you may want to take that test.

Take bio. Chem isn't regarded much higher, if at all.

I'd say physics is the only science one that is more favorably looked upon.

Why is physics more favorable?
Thanks for the responses

Because physics is a beast.
