<p>My SAT II scores weren't very good- in fact they were pretty bad. They're not required however, so will they hurt me if every other part of my app is pretty good? Any NYU students know anything about this?</p>
<p>SATII's wont have a significant impact either way, they say so on abouto 20 different posts on the nyu official bulletin board. If you have above a 600, dont worry it wont hurt u at all, a little less it will hurt you a little, but not too much. JWBlue would know more than me, but what i said was the official NYU admissions standpoint</p>
<p>SAT IIs can actually hurt you, if they are bad. You should only send them if they support your application, or if they are similar to your SAT I scores.</p>

<p>They're not automatically sent to every college in the country... they are only sent to the colleges you ask to send them to.</p>

<p>For NYU, I'd assume below 600 is bad, 600-650 is mediocre, and above 650 is what they're looking for.</p>

<p>u could do a walk in for the jan one (itll be expesnive tho) then rush scores.</p>
<p>There is no such thing as rushing scores to NYU. NYU downloads score reports electronically once a week. It will arrive in the same amount of time, regardless of being rushed or not.</p>

<p>SAT II are very important at Film and TV majors...I was told this directly by the admission people...the school accepts something like >5%,. I was told my sat II scores were on the low side (770, 760, 700)...but these standards don't apply to the other schools or majors within Tisch...</p>
