SAT IIs for Ivies?

Hey, I know that all of the Ivy League schools require two SAT IIs except for Princeton which requires three and that it is highly advisable to achieve 750+ scores. I have taken 4 such tests in the past, with scores listed below:
World History: 800
Chemistry: 790
Math II: 780
Literature: 750

First of all, are these scores in the typical range for Brown, UPenn, Columbia and Yale? Will that Math II score hurt me significantly? Also, would it be better to send in the lower lit score in place of the math one at other schools, as the percentile is higher for lit? Thanks

HELPPPPPPPPPPPPP… Please

Harvard also requires 3
Your scores are totally fine, and percentiles do not really matter, so just send in what you feel is best (i would send the math, it’s better than the lit disregarding percentiles)

bumpppppppppp

send in all except lit but consider retaking math II. you can get 5 wrong and still get 800. Aim for that magic number. A lot of ppl get 800s on MAth II

What? I missed 2 on the Math II and got a 740.

And I don’t think you get the option of what scores to send, the CB sends ALL scores you’ve taken.

Also, is this thread serious?

EDIT: Oh wait, forgot about score choice.

Princeton will only require 2 SAT IIs from applicants next year; I was told this by an admissions officer during an info session.

Percentile doesn’t matter, the score matters. They’re all great, just send them.

Either you are talking about the SAT of the subject test for Math ONE. If you received a 740 on Math II, you likely missed 9-10 questions.

Hmmm possibly. I got the same score on both and it was so long ago, I don’t really remember.

Obviously percentile matters. I don’t know why people are saying it doesn’t, especially when saying something like “a ton of people get 800 on the Math II” tacitly acknowledges that it does.

I also have the same question to the OP: are you serious?

“Is my 780 good enough? Oh me, oh my! Won’t all those ‘800’ point achievers knock me out of contention?”

If this is how you think, then you have some serious misconceptions. If this is your fishing for ego strokes, go buy a dog.

All 4 of your scores are great, congratulations. I would send all of them, knowing that you have a good combination of scores (humanities + math + sci) and have achieved great scores for all of them. Don’t worry anymore about your SAT II’s. Just focus on other parts of your app. now.

Thanks, everyone. There just seem to be quite a few perfect scores around here on math II…

all of those scores are superb. don’t worry about retaking math II. if you’re rejected, it won’t be because of a 780 Math IIC.

second, your lit score is very very good, as it is very hard to score high on that test.

go ahead and send all your scores. for a school that requires 3 scores, 4 isn’t pushing it too much.

thanks  10 char

bump 10 char

???
