Hey, I know that all of the Ivy League schools require two SAT IIs except for Princeton which requires three and that it is highly advisable to achieve 750+ scores. I have taken 4 such tests in the past, with scores listed below:
World History: 800
Chemistry: 790
Math II: 780
Literature: 750

First of all, are these scores in the typical range for Brown, UPenn, Columbia and Yale? Will that Math II score hurt me significantly? Also, would it be better to send in the lower lit score in place of the math one at other schools, as the percentile is higher for lit? Thanks

Harvard also requires 3
Your scores are totally fine, and percentiles do not really matter, so just send in what you feel is best (i would send the math, it’s better than the lit disregarding percentiles)

send in all except lit but consider retaking math II. you can get 5 wrong and still get 800. Aim for that magic number. A lot of ppl get 800s on MAth II

Obviously percentile matters. I don’t know why people are saying it doesn’t, especially when saying something like “a ton of people get 800 on the Math II” tacitly acknowledges that it does.

All 4 of your scores are great, congratulations. I would send all of them, knowing that you have a good combination of scores (humanities + math + sci) and have achieved great scores for all of them. Don’t worry anymore about your SAT II’s. Just focus on other parts of your app. now.
