I want to apply to the Fu school early decision. I really didn't do too well (at least in my opinion) on the SAT II Physics (680) and Math IIc (730). I did however get an 800 in World History last year, but my passion has always been science and math and I would love to do engineering. Anyway, are these scores going to really damper my chances? I know Columbia does not release any kind of information but are average SAT II scores for the Fu School? Should I bother to try and re-take them? Thanks in advance.

that physics score is a tad low. If you feel like you can do better then u should retake it or give chem a try.

lmao i thought you were mad about your SAT II scores and had put FU in paranthesis...wow

not that SAT if everything to your application, but these scores suggest that you are stronger in areas other than sciences. I do suggest you to reatake physics or try chem (I think chem is pretty easy to study for if you take about a month or so before the test to prepare for it and plan out your studies)

also do remember that the rest of you application may very well speak louder than a few test scores. if you show a true passion in the sciences, who is to say that you dont belong in the engineering pool?

anyhow good luck with your applications.

moo moo! ;-)

lmfao. I was thinking of the same thing Brand. But, i thought about it and realized what he meant
