SAT IIs...Which ones?

I was wondering which SAT IIs everyone took. I'm planning on taking 4-5 myself, but I would have to self-study the history one.

Also, I wanted to know if colleges tend to look a bit more highly on certain SAT IIs over others. Obviously if you are Chinese and you take SAT II Chinese it won't help as much, but I want to know how they judged US history vs. World history. Is one viewed to be more difficult or better? Thanks for reading.

I took US Hist, Writing, and Spanish (non-native). I probably should have taken math and would have if my scores on these three had been lower, but none of the schools I applied to required, or even recommended, taking it so I figured I'd just let it be. If you want to keep your options open, though, I would recommend taking a math.

Now I am getting scared about the US HIS test..... Personally this Jan. I am taking WRITING, BIO, and US HIS....

I've taken Chem, Math IIC, and Writing.. planning on taking Bio and maybe US Hist in June.

I think the 2 histories would be viewed the same, but I'm no expert...

Anyway, you have your SAT II subjects nicely distributed: writing, a science, a history. I second slipstream's rec that you take a math though.

anyone taken world history and us history though? have any opinions on which one was harder?

I've taken both, both were pretty easy, but World was a little harder. I got a 750 on World and a 780 on US.

A math, a science, and writing. They will never fail you. Those are the only ones you'll ever need. I took Physics, Writing and Math IIC.

took math 2, chem, mol. bio., and chinese. thinking about taking US history.
