<p>I don't really understand the SAT II's...they seem to test the same things as certain AP exams. Plus, do you take them when the subjects are fresh on your mind?</p>
<p>Yes, for example, a lot of people, including me, took the SAT II US History the day after their AP exam. Their point is basically to try to quantify people's achievement, and colleges like them b/c they are more "differentiated" than APs. They usually are supposed to cover one year's worth of material, but I think most people take the SAT IIs after taking the AP class. Hope this helps! good luck</p>
<p>An AP test is to get college credit, an SAT II is to measure the acheivement of an student taking an AP or College prep class and no college credit is given.</p>
