SAT in #3 Pencil?

Hey guys.

October was my third SAT...I was shooting for that > 2200 and I think i nailed the reading this time around. Yesterday I was trying to sharpen one of my pencils and I noticed that i was a #3 pencil. I went back home, and I have a box full of them.

Now I'm not sure I did this, but I think i MIGHT have done my SAT in #3 pencil. I know I used a Dixon Ticonderoga pencil on the test, and at the beginning of the year I bought two boxes, one #2 and apparently one #3. What happens if I did do everything in #3? Has anyone had any experience here?

Don't take my nonchalance seriously, I'm freaking out but trying not to panic

You’ll probably be fine; the #2 guideline is, to my best understanding, simply to ensure the best chance of a successful scanning.

I’m sure it is fine…you can always have your test hand-scored if the machine doesn’t read.

Request hand scoring if there is an issue. But you should be fine :)
