My first SAT attempt will be in 9th of October. I need help how to carry on my preparation.
Thanks.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Your math score is good…it can be better with a few “tricks” that SAT tests require.

Your essay skills will improve by writing essays…it’s as simple as that. Write them, have them critiqued, and write some more.

For the critical reading, you need to find some new techniques for attacking this section. I would recommend another method, or another book that gives some insight into this difficult section.

Personally, I do not care at all for the Barron books. I would recommend Princeton Review, Kaplan, or Peterson material which is far superior in my opinion.

Good luck!

Those last questions are wrong because of running out of time. Actually, I can make them but I need time.

for example?

Thanks.

I wouldn’t take the test if i were you. be more prepared then take it. It can hurt you if you do terribly.

^Agreed. The passage of time is a subtle yet incredibly important determinant of your SAT score. Yes, practice, too, is necessary, but when CB says that your high school classes will prepare you for the SATs, they aren’t kidding; this is part of the reason why people seem to do so much better when they take the October SATs as seniors.

Since you seem to be a non-English speaking international, it’s good that you understand the importance of getting a head start, but there is still a clear distinction between dedicated and frivolous preparation.

Well I understand it, but my current score is 1500(min)-1770(max). I’m satisfacted with it.
