I think the curve in predetermined… :(

i have just received from dark knight, a regular poster here who took the nov test, the following details:

"CR = 67 - 800; 66 - 800; 65 - 800; 64 - 790; 63 - 780; 62 - 760; 61 - 750.
M = 54 - 800; 53 - 780; 52 - 750; 51 - 730; 50 - 720; 49 - 700

Only have the higher range. Medium and lower ranges tend to be very stable from one test to another. "

thanks dark knight for e info!

So for Math -1 is a 760 and for CR -9 is a 700/690(That thread isn’t clear abut CR)?

however, dun follow this curve blindly because the experimentals are different… do prepare urself for a 10-20 pt deviation…

Oh okay thanks zackzm and dark knight!

well, dark knight does not have the medium ranges … tts e best we have for now…

@zackzm are you sure darknight took the 2008 test???

no probs. glad to be of help…

Btw,could dark knight verify some of the answers we have discussed here?

^ i strongly second that notion.

(btw am i the only one who considers this test’s curve quite generous? math is quite normal, writing i could care less just because its fairly easy to get in the mid to upper 700s range, and last month’s int’l test had a brutal curve. like five wrong and you were barely at 700, or not breaking 700 at all, i believe)

did anyone here have a maths experimental?

This might help: http://www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-Released-Test-Curves.pdf

Whatever the curve is,we can only roughly guess our scores since we don;t have the list of consolidated answers.

i have conveyed the requests to dark knight… no assurance though as imo, its already v nice of him to give us e curve…

im gg off now. if he updates me, i will post accordingly as soon as possible.

Sahiscope I had a math experimental as well. They were right next to each other, maybe sections 3 and 4.

I had Math experimental too.

Mine was a maths experimental, and yeah they were next to each other. I guess mine were 5 and 6. I know a mistake of mine. I wish that turns out to be in the experimental section.

Did you guys remember the probability question about a guy who works 2 days a week from Monday through Saturday.And what is the probability of him being called for work on a Tuesday in a certain week.Do you remember your answers for that question?

I think it was 1/6.
