this is the question I got wrong. haha.
i think the answer was 1/3. i chose an answer other than this and not sure why.
what did you choose soccerguy?

I chose 1/6.I was stuck at that question.What about the h(-x) questions?

I dont remember what I chose exactly, but this question bothered me too. Was this the one that was the last question in a section. If this is the one, then I remember I chose A

i think the answer was 1/3 for that one. not sure

I put the x+3 the first choice, as the f(-x) involved putting a -x into the line equation f(x)= -x+3 so it turned into

-(-x)+3 which is x+3

I think that’s the answer anyway if I remembered the question correctly!

Also can anyone remember the question about the slope of a line being in the shaded area? I have a horrible feeling that I multiplied instead of adding the two slopes…

@JackInTheBoxUK
Oh okay.I’m pretty sure you have to add it up.Sorry bud.

I’m pretty sure its 1/3. I don’t know how to say that in English but u got 15 possibilities to choose two random days of the 6 days and there are 5 possible combinations with tuesday (Monday Tueday, Wednesday Tuesday…). Thus the fraction is 5/15 which is 1/3. Also for the h(x) question I also got x plus 3.

the slope thing was adding up, so I think something like 1.5 would do.

Arcanis… if the question ur talking about is in the international version, then im sure its experimental i didnt get a q like this… experimental started with 2X +

real sections started with
Two of Three angles
if m=
if 2t

maybe i don’t know xD
i remember there was one grid in question with slopes, thats where u had to add up slopes of line l and m. And the h(x) question was the number 20 of a section, although i dunno whether it was experimental or not.

Okay…the probability question is it experimental Alysheta?What about the graph one?

In the slope question…the other slope was from 0 to 1, so the answer would have been anything from 1 to 2^^

and yeah…x+3 here too.

and perimetre of triangle was 18.

there was something about -a-b

um…I don’t remember much more.

|a+b| where a and b are both negative and it wanted the equivalent.

Does anyone remember a question about finding out the new radius or something of a cylinder which was enlarged? Hope that section wasn’t experimental for me cus that one was so easy and I had a math experimental for sure.

Fingers crossed it was the one with the probability of the man who worked two days a week and the question about which point would have to be on the gradient of blah blah or something. The answers were like (0, 1/2) etc and I kinda ran outta time for it.

yeah, the h of a cylinder would have been 8

I think the one with the man working was experimental because I had CR exp. and I don’t remember that one.

Also, the one with the cylinder and the new radius was 8, if I am not mistaken.

cylinder was 8. I remember there was one really tricky question it said something like which function was symmetric to the y-axis, and the answer was y=4 and right below it there was the choice: y= (x+4)^2. I chose that one first but realised my mistake in the last second :D

What about the line symmetry with respect to y-axis?

Well that’s a relief! Just annoying trying to remember which questions were on which section when I had to do 4 of them. Predicting a -2 for myself on the math…but maybe I’ll go safe and push a -4

@Arcanis Yeap,I did exactly like you did!Haha

I really can’t wait till february 10th this SAT could be THE deciding factor :D
