I'm taking SAT Literature in around 7 days, so time to cram. I'm an IB HL Lit student, so I've got experience with analysis and inference and all that. I've just made a list of all the excess literary terms that I should revise, and I've bought the Barrons revision guide. Is there anything else I should revise other than just terms and practice papers? Also, any further tips from previous SAT Literature students?

Also, if anyone has access to literature practice papers online, I would be very very appreciative :D Thanks all!

There aren’t many papers online, but I’m in IB too and the exam should be pretty easy There were next to no literary terms on the actual exam and Barron’s is quite excessive

@AnnaLuxe I can’t tell you how much of a joy that is to hear after two painful days of struggling through Barrons - Probably have to practice more than I thought these few days. Good luck to everyone going for it!

@WooTheDay there should be past papers in the xtremepapers cache, but they’re pretty limited and I’m pretty sure they’re not official :/

@13lia1 I’m sure you’ll do great! Just be aware that there are some wrong answers on the practice tests in the Barron’s book so go with your gut on those

@AnnaLuxe You’ve got to be kidding me o.o There are wrong answers on the tests? Haha at a raw baseline score I’m getting 650 - 700, kind of nervous since i don’t have that long to up my game - but thanks for the encouragement :D

@13lia1 I was getting around 700 on Barron’s but I managed an 800 on the actual exam Keep in mind that lit is considered one of the ‘harder’ subjects to get a high score in, so even getting around 700 would be considered a strong score

@AnnaLuxe Haha that’s awesome and good for you!! I’m keeping that in mind so hopefully I won’t do too terribly. Barron’s list of vocabulary words frankly looks rather ridiculous though I mean do we really have to know the difference between an epithet and antonomasia >< That’s not exactly literature…
