SAT Math 2 improvement?

Hi guys, I have been working on the Barrons diagnostic test. On the 30th I scored 573 (with 26 correct,19 wrong and 5 omitted), I then repeated the test today and I scored a 790 (with 44 correct, 4 wrong and 2 omitted) is this a good improvement so in 8 days a jump of 217.

Bearing in mind it was the same test.

Any help would be most welcome.

Thanks.

And how many hours would you delegate a day to aim for a score of 800?

I don’t think you should count this improvement because you simply did the test again. If you did the same test again, you should obviously improve because you know all the answers to the questions. Try another diagnostic test, and see what you get. Then, start from there.

@cso1640 yep that’s fair enough, I’m going to review all the Barron’s content, then hit the other tests at the back of the book :)

Barron’s is much harder than the real tests. Kids who get a 650 on Barron’s often end up with an 800 on the real test.

@desie1 wow, that’s quite low. I really need to go through the barrons guide.

Yes, Barrons is known for being MUCH harder than the actual test.

@desie1 Is TPR any good i.y.o. and would you recommend getting Chung’s too?
