SAT Math IIC score?

I am planning on taking Level 2 Math for SAT Subject Test this January. I took one of the practice tests on one of the Barron's book and I got 735 (9 skipped, most of them conics and one wrong). I definitely need to review conics and I also used a TI-89 Titanium during the practice test so I was able to solve a lot of the problems on the practice test without actually solving them (just being able to utilize some of the functions in the 89). But on the actual test, if I mastered conics and I used my 89, would I be in the safe zone for an 800? Some feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

for barron’s anything above a 650 COULD be an 800, depending on test day. You should still be practicing though, you have almost two months until the test. You have enough time to work through the book, then do all the practice tests, your score on the last couple practice tests should be about 50 points higher than the diagnostic test, and although a 730 is a solid shot for an 800, a 780 would be almost a guaranteed 800.

I respectfully disagree. While getting a good score on barron’s is a wonderful achievement, don’t expect to receive an 800 on the SAT Math II from Baron’s alone.

You can certainly get an 800 from barrons’s alone.
