sat math!

hi all!

so, i recently received my march sat scores (780 CR, 720 M, 800 WR) and was pretty enthused about my 2300. i am, however, looking to compete among top schools and am a tiny bit concerned about my math score, just because it falls so much further down than the other two.

clearly SAT scores at this level arent make or break for a college decision, but i'd like some piece of mind - is it possible to balance my 720 here with a 750+ on the math IIC?

this is my 2nd time taking the sats and i'd really like to not have to take it again just for math.

thanks for your help!

Take the math 2c exam- it will balance out a weak sat (although that not weak) score.

Just take the Math II...

I agree. A 750+ MAth IIC score will show you can cut it in math. And if you get As in math too, that helps.

I think a 2300 ought to be just fine, and your math score really isn't that much lower than your other two. this thread http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-act-tests-test-preparation/77312-important-question-everyone.html might help- it gives the average SAT scores for lots of colleges. It might make you slightly less depressed :)

thanks guys, i feel much better. i guess its just on to the next tests then! -sigh-

tinuviel - are those avg scores recent? 2200 at yale seems a bit low, doesnt it?
