Shoot! My testing center is closed tomorrow because of a snow storm! I worked so hard for SAT Math 2 within these past few weeks and gave up time for school courses to study this. And now it’s canceled!!! Now I’ll have to take the exam in May…what am I gonna do???
@1618dz Well, man, I think you have have to be chill with it. Nothing you can do with it. But I feel your pain dude. It is like so freaking hard to prep for anything between the AP testing weeks. Maybe June will be a better idea, I think. I would say just stay put with it and wait. ( better not be any snows storm in June). Good luck buddy!
That’s sad news guys. I am off to the center hoping for an 800 good luck to all writing today
Just checking that the TI Nspire Cx Cas is permitted. Also, should I be in real or rectangular on the calculator?
Has anyone taken the test already? any international students?
@veryhappygirl123 International here. I did. It was difficult.
@MrAustere yes your calculator is allowed see here : https://sat.collegeboard.org/register/calculator-policy.
I suggest you use the calculator in real mode. Anyone else who thinks there was a printing error in the linear regression question that asked about a chicken sandwich.
Another international here, also found it difficult
How was it difficutlt
Mine is cancelled but… I’m a senior
My current score is trash and I applied to ivies. And the make up date is going to be way too late for colleges to accept
What was hard about it?
when do the students in the states take the test?
On CB it says that most schools rescheduled for feb 20
Any other international students here that took the test? For me, this month’s test was harder than december’s test. .
Just got back from the test center. I concur with @ZainSD to some degree. I though the first 25 or so were very easy, I finished them in about 20 minutes. The back end of the test was very difficult and I ended up only answering 42 of 50 which leaves my chances for an 800 at slim to none. Of the 42 I’m pretty confident in them and probably only missed 1 or 2 which leaves me at around a 770 780 if the curve is the usual.
Anyone out there who has taken it and used their score for college, is there that much of a difference in the way colleges look at a 750,60,70,80,90… there is a significant spread in the percentiles but I was wondering if anyone had some advice.
Side note, I don’t know if I should file a grievance or whatever action you’re supposed to take in a case such as this, but during the test a girl’s stopwatch went off for a solid couple of minutes (it had happened another time during the test before this instance) before the proctor finally went and took it from her (she was not dismissed). I don’t want to make excuses for my score but when something like that happens it does kind of throw you off.
Anyway, that’s my $0.02, I’d love to hear from others as to what they thought of it.
International student here.
I am a senior so I did not find it difficult except the question with the circle and we had to find the length of the cord. That took me a solid ten mins.
But what did you guys get for the linear regression question I am still convinced that there was a printing error cause I didn’t see the chicken sandwich in the given table at all!
@Mohijto
Wow, seriously? Printing error? Lol
@SomeDancinPanda @ytytforever @ZainSD
What were your scores in your practice tests? Just curious if I’m screwed for the rescheduled test on February.
