@YoLolololol Do you live along the east coast?
@1618dz Yeah i live on the east coast
@Mohijto I too found the test easy. The chord question’s answer was 2-2cos(theta) in a square root.
And I don’t think there was any error on the regression problem. You have to round it up to the nearest answer though I think. You took Physics too right?
@DaVinci but I didn’t see any data set with chicken sandwich. Lol I left only that questions others were fine. Yes even I got root 2-2cosθ for the chord question No I didn’t take physics :?
After studying with Dr. John Chung’s book, this test was literally a joke easy. The only one I felt slightly uncomfident about the circle with the chord
@Mohijto I thought you were retaking Physics to get an 800. I too skipped a question or two but I think we’ll do fine.
@Anubis13 I concur. This test was a breath. Didn’t even take any practice tests before taking it
Did anyone else think that the chord question was one? One side would become sin, the other cos. Through pythagoreans theorem and identities it would become 1
How did you guys do the chord question?
I found the last 20 questions to be very hard
@YoLolololol Would the SAT Math be rescheduled to February 20th?
It’s just that I don’t see my testing center on the college board closures… :-/
@YoLolololol The practice tests I took in Barrons , I got 720 in the first two tests for Maths. Got a 680 in the Barron’s practice test for chemistry.
@1618dz most likely Feb 20 because it seems like that’s when they all are
My colleges are all saying on their website that they will accept make up tests but it seems way too late to me. I guess I’ll still take it though
After leaving 10 blank, I ended up taking Math 1 as well just because I was already there and had the time. While I know it is the ~75th% (or less), would a 730 still be a respectable score for Ivy schools? Would a 790/80 in Math 1 be better than a 700 in Math 2?
@soccerboy16 I think a 730 is fine and it shows mastery, and everyone on here that is “retaking with a current 770” or is worried about “failing the math 2” because they got a 760 on a practice test or is not satisfied with anything but an 800 might be overreacting a bit. It’s great to shoot for the best, but it’s not like anything below that is a terrible score. Sorry if I offended anyone. But in my opinion, anything above a 700 shows mastery and is respectabale, and while it may not be in the top percentile, I doubt any admissions officer goes, “oh he got a 700, that’s an awful score”. It’s a solid score.

does anyone know how to do the least linear regression? My friend said that the answer was 190 i got 189? does that matter
sorry i got 184
I personally got 190 because I didn’t feel like entering all the data in my calculator. I just did the nearest points. If you want, you could enter the data and manually do the linear regression and let me know what the answer is.
Personally, I would retake a 730 on math II if possible. That’s probably fine for most schools, but if the school has below a 20 percent acceptance rate, try to get at least a 760.
