SAT May 2009 Math

the answer for the quadratic one is 12
you can use a graphing calc to confirm this.
enter y=x^2 and y = 12-x^2
then graph and then find intersect (2nd trace). you will notice that the intersect is 2.4494…

anyone get 6 for grid-in? i used the diameter…but someone said something about going across the surface of the sphere-- the issue i have with that is you could have two points extremely close to each other and have an distance infinitely close to the circumference of the circle

powerbomb yeah

anyone get 6 for grid-in? i used the diameter…but someone said something about going across the surface of the sphere-- the issue i have with that is you could have two points extremely close to each other and have an infinite distance

Max linear distance is 6. Unless you are discussing some theoretical physics that I’m unaware of.

yea 6 either the last or second to last grid-in

Anyone clarify mean mediam mode? or was that experimental?

1319… Can somone provide better context to which VENN diagram it was. was that a free response or what…

IlMauriuolo i dont remember that question.
but math experimental was one with the logic problem at the end (sec 2 for me)
“if i study then i will pass the test”

experimental means that it won’t be counted ?

for #20 for one of the question where it said if … then ?? anyone get if u dont study, then u wont pass

yes. it doesnt count towards your score.

Anybody get the answer to the first question? I think it was 2x+7= 11

That was a toughie.

yes i had that one also do you know if that was the experimental (talking bout #20 if i study i will pass or whatever it said)

yeah 10 char

meatloafman995 doesnt really matter. it’s experimental. but yeah i put that lol

@ question

venn diagram was a free response

ready I don’t remember that question at all… I think another question on that section what about a sphere BUT not the one that was just a matter of calculating the diameter (I believe the answer of that one was 6)

what does yea 10char mean?

what was the one with the construction and agriculture jobs

oh don’t you do

whatever the number they gave you = .1x and solve for x and multiply that by .08?

Yeah i got 6.
