SAT May 2009 Math

wasn’t the reflection one zero when added. i used (1,1) reflected it over the y, got (-1,1), then reflected over the x and got (-1,-1) if you add them all up it is zero. so the answer was whatever one equaled zero (maybe a-b or -a+b)

will someone please answer this question, its irritating me

the a,b,c with Ionly II only etc.

the answer was I and II only RIGHT?!

a1z7b, it only worked because u used 1,1

try 5,1 youll see, the answer by the way is -(a+b)

(5,1), (-5,1), (-5,-1) add them up and you get -4 -(a+b) does not equal -4 -(5+1)=-6. I now see that I too was wrong, but what the heck it seems like nothing works

in your example the final pair (-5,-1) adds -5 + (-1) = 6

excuse me -6

a1z7b, it only worked because u used 1,1

try 5,1 youll see, the answer by the way is -(a+b)

i did trhis

what is -4 like?
-3?
-2
-1

hey, what are the answers for *21 and 6-character vs 4-character?

was that the one where you had to find the LCM and time was involved?

@iliketodance123; are you addressing me? if yes, then it’s not. the first question is that n+ *n= a square number. they say *21 has which equal? the second one was like they have 70 characters and make 6-character word and 4-character word. what is the ratio?

^ The one is experimental I suppose I didn’t have it.

are you sure that the 70 characters and make 6-character word and 4-character word one wasnt experimental?

Is section 2 likely to be experimental?
I am going insane over this.

i don’t know. i hope it’s experimental though, as i have two consecutive math sections, and this is the first one, and it’s difficult.

if it’s one omit, what score am i looking at?

but if it is, what do you guys think the answer should be?

@irisrhee: 780-790

genie17: really? i had math for sections 2 and 3 and 2 was the easy onee. did you have a logic one with studying for tests and passing or something like that?

the logic one was easy. the other with the questions i posted was difficult for me.
