I was rejected and I'm crushed. Had a 730 CR, 590 M, 750 W. I think that's what did me in.

well....u are pretty good at writing and reading!

those are my worst :(

I don't know about the minimum score. I would say that ND weights SAT scores very heavily. They only have one essay on their app, so common sense tells me that the most important factors are test scores and transcripts.

i kno what the stats are that the site and the school says... but i was wondering from students.... how low their SAT scores were... and they got accepted

hey linsey, dont fret. i got rejected to. my SAT's were 1270/1600. i had 4.7 weighted GPA and so many EC's. watever

I would guess around 1280 old SAT/1900 new SAT. I think my 2200 covered my 3.5uw GPA.

uhhhh...were you accepted?

yes. (+characters)

On the often repeated subject of SAT scores and whatnot here's my two sense....

the Admissions office has stated they are primarily using the V and M not W (although they are "watching it")...lest anyone think I am making this up go to:

and read the article yourselves.

i think everyone understand all of that. I was just wondering the lowest someone has gotten in with. So if someone got in with a low score... i was jsut wodnering what it was. Is that so bad?

It all depends on the other factors in your application.
The better each of these the lower your SAT can be and still get you in:
GPA
Rank
Location
Ethnicity
EC's
Essay
Curriculum Difficulty

My older brother, a student at ND, said that the avg. SAT is about a 1330-1400.

Hawaiiansuperman, I don't mean to be rude or anything,,, But the only reason that you got accepted was probably the fact that you WERE FROM HAWAII.

be careful making that allegation. That's the kind of negativity that serves no purpose. ND stresses what while standarized scores are important, they are not the end all be all, and they look at the whole person. Don't trivialize the fact that he got in. The whole 1300-1400 SAT I (old system) represents an average, not a requirement for admission.

Yeah but still,,, every college probably wants students from Every State in the US, and crap like that. he is Just fortunate to be born out in the Pacific.

getting in with a 1690, is just a little suspicious.

would You care to share with everyoue your Other Stats and stuff Hawaiiansuperman to prove me wrong.
