SAT - November - Too late? (For EArly Admission)

Hey guys! Quick Question: Is it too late to take the SAT in november for early admission. i'll be applying to chicago and umich early action and brown ED. Would it be too late? Also, is it considered bad to take it in November and rush the scores?

Thanks guys!!

UChicago for EA and Brown for ED accept Nov tests; you do not “rush” them; instead you need to designate the colleges as your free sends as part of application for test so score is actually sent as soon as scores are released (in fact, when you designate colleges as free sends, College Board sends such scores to colleges two days before you even learn of the score). In other words, you cannot wait to learn your score before sending it.

Mich requires you to send scores by no later than Nov 1. It states on its website that means that Oct test scores will be too late. In other words, you better have taken a test by Sep. (for ACT) and by June (for SAT). It will then accept and consider Oct tests if in fact you met EA deadline by Nov 1 by sending earlier test, otherwise they are not considered for EA. In any event, Nov scores are not accepted for EA.

how can you do ed for brown and early action for uchicago & mich. I thought ed meant you can only apply too that uni until mid dec.Is ea later for the other 2 unis?

You can apply only to one college ED. However, all ED schools allow you to apply EA elsewhere. Most EA schools, including UChicago and UMich, allow you to apply ED or EA elsewhere; exceptions include Harvard, Princeton, Yale and Stanford, which, as an EA school, do not allow you to apply EA or ED elsewhere, and Georgetown, also an EA school, which allows you to apply EA elsewhere but not ED
