Hi, everybody... I am a moroccan student who would like to study in the USA after graduating in high school. Well, my desire to go there burns me because I love Pure Mathematics and also the renowned of American universities.

Well, I'll take the TOEFL this year. My mathematical abilities are highest at school, I always help people in Mathematics in the Homework forum and at school. By the way, I would like to opt for electrical or aerospace engineering.

So, I just want to know what is the most requested between ACT and SAT to be admitted to an American university of engineering after graduating in high school.

The vast majority of colleges will accept either one. Most people take both because sometimes a student performs much better on one than on the other.

Well, in Korea, where I’m located, most students applying for schools abroad still take the SAT, but it has been rumored by many people and even actually mentioned by several college administrators that universities are extremely wary of SAT scores coming out of Asia and from South Korea specifically. So, more and more students are taking the ACT, because of the loss of credibility that has stemmed from several notorious SAT scandals in Korea.

Gotta love a country where students pay up to 10 grand a month to attend a prestigious private SAT academy and a country where a teacher can make a million dollars a year stealing the answers! LOL
