Which one is better to take, based on your opinions? Also, What would be an ideal study plan for a month before?
Get a hold of a practice test for each. Take them (or half of them) under the time limits prescribed. See whether there is one that fits you better. Take that one. If you do about the same on them - flip a coin.

If the OP performs similarly on ACT and SAT wouldn’t it be wiser to go with ACT since there are alot of prep material for it? (And alot of official practice materials unlike the New SAT which only has 4 practice tests)
@YoLolololol - maybe. The ACT is a little bit more of a time crunch. Some people do well with that.
