ACT or SAT? Which would you say is easier to prep for if you have 3-4 months ahead of time.

I can only speak from personal experience, but the ACT was WAAAAY better for me. I took the ACT cold once to see where I stood, and then I got myself a practice book and did a couple practice tests. In the mean time I prepped a bit for the SAT and took that. After taking my second ACT with moderate self-preparation, I have a superscored 36 and an enigmatic 2100 on the SAT.

Let me also say that your personal test taking preferences are important as well. There are some people that are better at the SAT than the ACT or visa versa, and no matter how much they prepare, they will not score equally on both tests. If you are interested in which test would be better for you, one option is to take a practice test of both and see if there is a significant difference for you (as there was for me). Then, you can prepare for the test that is better suited to your style of test taking.

Good luck!
