For a student that has a weak background with math and a very strong english/writing background is the SAT the better test for me to take? I recieved a 22 on the first ACT i took because I absolutely bombed the math section, otherwise it would be around a 25. I am brushing up on math for this saturday's ACT, so i will see how it goes. However I hear the SAT doesn't focus on math as much as the ACT however the SAT has more "trick questions". Is the SAT the better test to take?

Usually, SAT is better for people with stronger verbal skills. I suggest you try a practice test and see how well you do. Try one in the blue book.
