<p>I plan to apply to competitive schools this year, and I'm wonder if it's better to take the sat or act.
I have already done the sats, and my scores are below
Math: 790
CR:670
Writing: 700</p>
<p>As you can see, my weakness is with English and my strength is in Math, would the act benefit me?</p>
<p>Why not take the ACT and see how you do? As a worst case scenario, you wouldn't use the ACT scores and your SATs are very good. Check and see what the colleges you're applying to require. Some require the ACT plus the writing section, others don't require the essay section. Good luck!</p>
