<p>You may not have a choice. Most schools REQUIRE TOEFL.
However, since most schools require 71+, and generally 79-80, that 70 is going to hurt you, so email the schools and ask if with a CR score of … you need to send the TOEFL.
The lowest I’ve seen for an exemption is 480 but if you’re applying to schools where the average admitted student is in that range (480-530 for example), they may be more lenient.
Some community colleges only want 61 TOEFL and with 1520 SAT you may qualify for something.</p>
