Which SAT prep courses would you guess reccomend? What do you guys have to say about kaplan, princeton review, and sylvan? Which prep course was most helpful to you?

anyone????????????????????????????????

theyre all more or less the same. well, i actually dont know about sylvan but i know kaplan and princeton review are the same thing with different names basically. i havent taken courses yet but i may sell my soul to the dark side (princeton review)

has anyone tried the collegeboard online course? Is that any good?

Does anybody have a copy of the October 2004 SAT test that they want to sell me ? Please send me a private message. Thanks.

all the courses are generally the same. It depends on what your score is if you want to know whether you need a class. If your score is 1200 or below consistently, take the course. If you are getting 1350+ do not waste money on the course. Thats what I did and it didnt help at all. The classes only cater to students who are below 1300. I took pr and it didnt help me. Thru self study, I went up from a 1300 to a 1550 (in 3 weeks may i add)

actually, I am considering takeing the pr course for the New SAT based on my psat score which was 166. Do you guys thing it would be a good idea for me to take the course?

Yea you should take a course with that score. You have quite a bit of room to improve so the classes should work for you. Just take a practice test before applying for a class to see whether you went up from the time you took the PSATs.
