hey guys I took the ACT in December and September. I took it in september and got a 25 which I thought was a good baseline considering I barely studied. However, I studied almost everyweekend for the December test and got a 23. I think I knew most of the material on the test, I just did not have the energy nor momentum to take the test straight through. I was also suprised how much harder the questions were on the actual test than the practice tests in the red book, that I would get 28-32s on. I would however take the tests broken up in secions not straight through. I guess this could have contributed to my lower score, but I dont think that dramatically. Is it just my nerves and lack of practice that contributed to my lower score or is that I didnt study the material hard enough?
Anyways I am taking the SATs in March and want to be well prepared for the actual test. What can I study that would have the same difficulty as the actual test? So far I have the McGraw Hill book and the blue book. I also need the most help with reading comprehension. Do you guys think that the blue book is an actual representation on how the test would look like in terms of difficulty?
