What exactly is the required SAT score for the Naval Academy? I got a 780 math, but only a 700 verbal.

your'e good, now you just need some athletics/leadership and class rank

I am currently working on some more volunteer type of stuff, but I do varsity football, wrestling, and baseball. I am also vice president of the NHS at our school. My class rank is somewhere around 5th and will probably stay about there.

Yea, but rumor has it there are only 7 rising senior students in Alaska. ;) Sounds like you're getting in good shape. Think quality over quanity although both are better.

Aw, TX in AK is in the banana belt where mosta the peeps are! Lovingly referred to here in the interior as North Seattle. :) Keep up the great work, TX, and if the TX in your name is for Texas, at least you won't be one of those obnoxious mids who goes around talking about how Texas is the largest state. Good luck!

Tx... in response to your question, your SATs should bode well, as will your other stats thus far. Best of luck to you!

Yeah I live in Alaska, but my heart really does lie with Texas. People up here argue that Alaska is almost half as big as the continental United States, but I a always make sure to inform them of all of Texas's glory. There are 457 people in my class and it is one of 8 high schools in Anchorage, but there really is little interest in service academies up here. It is really strange.
