SAT Reading List?

Hey i have a question for anyone who scored 750+ on CR. If you read a lot of books during your sat studying career do you have any particular book list or books that one should read that would help increase reading capabilities? I know TIME magazine is one but i mean like actual books. If anyone knows any books that have helped them then please let me know! I know everyone says to READ READ READ but i don't know what to read, lol
Thanks

Most people who excel in CR don’t read to prepare for the SAT, but because they enjoy reading. You should read whatever you enjoy, though with an eye toward preparing for the SAT (high level of vocabulary, etc.).

If you want some books that I’ve read and enjoyed, then here are some:
-Mansfield Park by Jane Austen
-The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli
-R. A. Salvatore’s Forgotten Realms series (look up the Crystal Shard or something then click on the series)
-Tad Williams’ Shadowmarch, Shadowrise, etc. series

I would also recommend reading the New York Times or the Washington Post.

Remember, though, read what you enjoy, which may or may not be similar to what I enjoy.

The only time I ever read a book is when it is assigned in school, and I get 780+ on all my CR practice tests. However, I do look at Economist, Time, NyTimes, and the like.
