so anyone 1/8? for the triangle in rectangle question, 4xroot3 for the last question with the circle and triangle and tangets. And for the parabla question where f(1) = F(9)=12 did u guys get 7 or 3

for the last question with the circle and triangle tangents, i think i chose the other answer with 4 root 3?

Yeah, I got 7 or 3.

What about the sentence completion question about the machine? Something with choices like falter/concentration and fail/redundancy? I didn't get that one at all...

For the weatherman passage: What did the author of passage 2 think of the weatherman? Unqualified approval, or tempered appreciation? And what can be inferred about typical weatherman from both passages? They're somewhat glib, or they know a lot about weather?

i put glib

i said unqualified approval, but it was debating between those two choices....

i figured, he didn't appreciate his behavior, but instead, approved of the way he acted because he was a weatherman, a television personality

1/8 is the answer for the triangle in rectangle one. I stupidly spent like 5 minutes on it and actually solved it, so if that's not the right answer I'll scream. I ended up having to skip 3 problems at the end because I ran out of time thanks to that problem.

And yes, 1983 is the answer. Just organize the years like this:

Term 1: 1983-1984
Term 2: 1985-1986
Term 3: 1987-1988
Term 4: 1989-1990
Term 5: 1991-1992
Term 6: 1993-1994
Term 7: 1995-1996
Term 8: 1997-1998
Term 9: 1999-2000

I only had three math sections, and I don't remember having the question about cars and colors, so I guess that section was experimental for you guys.

I put tempered appreciation

I put down tempered appreciation.

What did you guys put Michaelangelo's master's remarks were most analogous to? I couldn't decide between Michaelangelo's artistry or the master's discovery of him.

the answer to the marble question was 8

it was one red, 2 green, and 5 blue or something like that.

chhc: i'm pretty sure that the CR passage about being lost was not experimental. i only had 3 CR sections, meaning none were experimental..
pretty sure i had a writing exp.

I think it was 1/16. You had to subtract the area of the smaller right triangle within the larger right triangle in order to find the area that you needed.

EDIT: Nevermind, sorry - remembered wrong. It was one 1/8.

That's my question - did 1999-2000 count as a term? The question specifically stated that a term lasted from the very beginning of January to the very end of January, so if he resigned IN December 2000, did he complete that term?

i dont think it could possibly be 4root3 because the radius was given in terms of x so i guess 4X root 3...anyone else so is it 1/8 or 1/16 any one know for sure

^^I'm pretty sure I had a writing exp. too. I think Section 3 or 4 may have been it.

i got 1/8 for the triangle in the rectangle. almost positive about it.

man, it think i should email collegeboard about the #17 about the if it is in X blah blah question. The question did not make sense.

If a number is in X, It is also in Y

That doesnt mean that y cant have a different number than X. A number could be in Y that might or not be in X

Quote: 200 was my answer .04(200) - .03(200)= 2

i thought for some reason it said .004 and.003 and the answer i got was 2000

do you guys remember this question:
Group x: had a X average
Group z: had a Z average
Group y had y number of people
what number is possible when you average X and Z
the answer choices:
1.) X
2.)Y
3.)Z

yes i feel the same way, i chose choice C but i do not think that any of the answers are actually rite

madamebovary, i remember that question. i put Y only.
