how did u guys get that 3, 17, 100 question

How many multiple choices did you have?

About the 1983 question - if the president retires IN December, doesn't that mean that he retired before he completed a term, since the term is from the first day of January to the last day of December? Maybe I was overthinking it, but I put 1981, because I thought that his last year/two years wouldn't count as a completed term.

I didn't get the 3, 17, 100 question. it was impossible. I must have tried every number up to 25

on the 16 question math section was the answer to last problem with the circle and triangle and tangent lines 4xroot3 and howbout that rectangle with a little triangle in it what fraction does the triangel make up of total area. I guesses 1/8?

i left that last question blank. i also guessed 1/8 for the triangle in the rectangle, which there was no way to figure out because they didn't give you the length of the rectangle

I'm sorry I'm stupid but can someone explain the 1983 question to me please?

You had to recognize that it was a 30-60-90 triangle, I think. (The lines were parallel.)

haha that last question i had 5 minutes left to do and i just took a piece of paper measured it and counted how many x's using a scale... haha im such a genius!!!

4sqrt3!!!!

Oh, thank GOODNESS. This is the version I took; it's def. the international version.

For the essay, I said that the most successful people are the ones who succeed in forming their own opinions, and used an example from The Crucible and an example from philosphy (Nietzche) to back it up. Hopefully two examples was enough?

The cattle passage...hmmm. The last question was that both passages stated that workers in the 1890's had problems with their employers. Passage 2 talked about the origins of a social phenemonon (not the exact words but same meaning) that was discussed in Passage 1. And that's about all I remember, sorry.

Vocab...ummmm. There was one about somebody becoming a feminist for myriad (a lot of) reasons. There was another one about some diminutive (small) sea creature that was nevertheless insidious (dangerous). There was one about a guy that everyone hated because he was some bad adjective that started with the letter b that I can't remember. Ughhh. Hope that helps. I have a bad memory!

What'd everybody think about the math? Am seriously hoping section 2 was the experimental one. Ughhhh

how bout the question that was like.... IF the Number is it set X, then its in set Y?

answer i put: if the number is NOT is X, it is NOT in Y?

"how bout the question that was like.... IF the Number is it set X, then its in set Y?

answer i put: if the number is NOT is X, it is NOT in Y?"

hmmm, but the Y set can hold values other than values in the X set?

ok now i finally get what you guys are talking about.

there is also that gerrymandering question.... #7 on section #3

yea it was, did anyone get conscientious...castigated for one?

another was also automaton?

yeah i got those answers ^

yea it was, did anyone get conscientious...castigated for one?

another was also automaton?

nightdawg those are all correct :)

awesome! does anyone remember a vocab thing about a statue?
