"as a man part" was also a corrected part wasnt it

yea, it was

there was also an option that said she "became..."

but the "as a man" part was not correct

GTO- I put the same as you for "either of the cars"

International version: Yup, recalcitrant is the right answer for the sentence completion about the girl who acted up in class.

Watchadoing: the boys who fought was animosity; I didn't take that test, but veracity means the truthfulness of something, so that couldn't be the right answer.

For the "either of the cars" one did anyone get E? That's what I got but it's probably wrong.

Also, for the passage about women in art, what did you put for why did she mention iceberg? I put that something about it was only a small part of the large amount of stuff about art or something.

And for the same passage what did she do to answer the question in the first paragraph? I put she questioned the definition of greatness but I don't know...

Anyone remember the sentence error question that had "by 1969, ... someone was the first to walk on the moon after Neil Armstrong"?

For the "either of the cars" one did anyone get E? That's what I got but it's probably wrong.

For either of the cars, i think the answer was C.

hey la, are u there? cause i had a sentence completion question where i thought recalcitrant (meaning defient) was the wrong answer. i hope we had different tests. did u have passages about mars and getting lost?

yeah i think i marked c and the artists passage i think i put greatness too

note: this isn't in response to the above post, but another q on that same passage.

the passage suggested great artists work quickly and with ease. quickly because it happened in the short time that the master turned his back, and with ease is supported by the sheep child's early talent and michaelangelo's young age when he quickly whipped out that great drawing in front of the master.

works best alone would have to be assumed, since the passage didn't say whether the master was dragging the talent down, just that he was already more brillant than the older man (thus his quote also).

it doesn't matter if michaelangelo didn't in real life, in fact that'd make even more sense since that was the point of the passage - that great artists weren't superhuman.

About Clara Barton, I had "that of" as part of the answer to maintain the comparison. So, it makes: "clara barton, who founded the red cross, would become the first women to receive an equal salary as that of a man by the government" I think...

yea, i think I put that too...i was just wondering about the "would become" part because "became" is a much more suitable to phrase that sentence

Any more thoughts about the women in art passage?

I thought the others were easy.

i thought the trickiest passages were the weatherman and forten passages

analgous was an answer to something

SAT II World History was so difficult!
NOT fun

virtuoso: I believe I had the same answers as you regarding the art passage.

The weatherman passages were pretty bad - we you thinking about tempered /unqualified approval/appreciation question, NishtDawg? :p

I had analogous as an answer, too, but to which Q?

yea, some analogy was created in one of the passages!

pandora- yea, i hated that question! you were right, the BEST answer would have been "tempered approval"

something about being discreet for the black bussinessman
