So, mini panic attack engaged.
I am taking the January SAT, and so I had everything lined up for my scores to be sent once I’d taken it (my schools accept the January SAT).
But, wait; Do I need to send a score report without it too? I haven’t sent any scores yet and now I’m panicking.
What do I do? I thought that if a school accepted the January one, it would just take my scores once that one was taken?
Shoot shoot shoot shoot I messed up
I presume you indicated on your common app that you plan on taking the Jan sitting right? Then the schools will know not to panic either – they know the Jan scores will come in and then they can fully evaluate you.
Let’s say that hypothetically I had pushed back my SAT date and forgot to note it on my application. Should I call the schools and let them know my mistake?
From other threads, it looks like you are applying to some very selective schools, some of which may require you to send all of your test scores in. Have you sent the previous SAT score to those schools?
Yep! I have a ridiculously small fraction of a percent of a chance, but hey, who knows?
I’ve sent all of my scores out, with the exception of Princeton (which I need to bump my score up for), and Vassar (my first choice, so I want to be double sure with my sat score). Both accept the January SAT as the latest one, so I was planning on sending all of them as a package deal.
I’ll also be sending my January scores to Brown, although they recommend having at least one set of scores in by the deadline, so I sent my previous ones already.
@suzy100 Should I send an email out? What do you reccomend?
I’d call Princeton and Vassar and ask them.
