SAT Score question

D just asked me to check which schools she had her scores from the last SAT sent to. I logged in and saw that the scores were sent yesterday and I'm having a brain spasm here. Since the scores come out to the test taker tomorow, does that mean that those were the scores sent to her choices from that last SAT? I have no recollection of sending scores recently, so it seems that they might have been sent to colleges before being released, but I'm not sure now and wonder if I did something wrong. Does anyone know how the timing works?

My understanding is that if you ask the SAT or ACT people to send your scores when you register for the test, the scores are sent electronically and may arrive to the schools before the student receives them. Did she select schools to send these scores to when she registered for this test?

The thing is she doesn’t remember! Actually, it’s me who doesn’t remember because I’m in charge of paying for things like this.

You are allow to send for free a certain number of score reports if you sign up for them when you sign up for the test. It doesn’t change your fee. (You only pay if you send them independent of a test.)

No, that’s not what I meant. I registered her for the test because I’m the payee of the pair. I just don’t remember which schools she selected at registration. I’m guessing your’e right and it’s a timing thing.

^^^

I thought that you can go to Collegeboard and see which (if any) schools were selected during registration for each test.

However, I do think it’s odd that the scores have been electronically sent, but they’re not online yet for viewing?
