If I take the SAT twice, and in one test get a higher math grade and in another test get a higher reading grade, does Vandy combine your highest scores to get your total? Also, does Vandy loook at writing scores?

I took it the first time and was shocked. I got the exact schore i expected (1460), but I expected a 780 in math and a 680 in reading. Instead, I actually got:
Reading 750
Math 710
Writing 750

I know I will do better on Math next time (I got 800 on 2 full math practice tests, but I doubt Ill get near a 750 or higher in reading again!

2210 is a phenomonal score to begin with...if you think that you can take that higher, then you should go for it. However, again, your score is away above Vandy's average to begin with.

And, yes, they do combine scores and take into account your writing.

Thanks everyone, I just want to say I am very happy with my score, and if I had got a 710 in reading and a 750 in Math, I wouldn't retake it, but I feel like I might as well retake it because I have no dount that I can do better on math!
I am also hoping that if I can do well enough on my SAT Vandy might offer me a merit scholarship.
