SAT scores and early action....

My daughter has taken the SAT once (Jan 2014) prior to the October 2014 exam. Her Jan 2014 scores were low (520-500-490 = 1510) and she feels the October exam (results available Oct 26) will be somewhat better.

Senario - School has an October 21 Early Action deadline (UNC Chapel Hill)

The common app asks the following - How many times have you taken the SAT (the answer is 2, but then asks what the highest score of the exams are (since she does not yet have the results from October yet) she can only enter the results of the only exam she has. This infers the Jan 2014 score is her highest.

It then asks how many more times doe you intend to take the exam (the answer is 2 - Nov 2013 and early in 2014 - She will take early in 2014 if she shows incremental progress in the October and November tests)

Should we list it as she has taken it ONCE and has three future dates (October, November, and early 2014) so they do not judge her on the Jan test (and know there is a a new result that will be sent to them in a few days_?

Thanks

edit to add - all her other choices have Nov 1st or later early action dates so we are just going to hold off those and send them on Oct 26 after we are able to add October scores.......
