SAT Scores Out. Chance me please.

SAT: CR 630, M 670, W 700 (Superscored)
GPA: 2.5(Awful I know)

with these scores alone, could I possibly get into a school like Indiana, or maybe something like Syracuse.

High SATs and low GPA basically. Thanks, I appreciate it.

This is a really difficult question. It would be good to have at least a 3.0 for both schools, but then again your SAT is very well above. I think you have a chance, but you need to have excellent ECs to help out your GPA. If you have good ECs, great essay, and great letters of recommendations, then you have a decent chance. I would say high match or low reach, but lean towards h

High match. Good luck!

I agree with the need for standout ECs. That GPA is going to hurt. Your SAT isn’t ridiculously high, but it’s good. I third the high match/low reach trend. Is there a reason for the low GPA? If there’s some sort of circumstance that might help explain (legitimate illness, horrific financial hardship ect.) that’s different. If it’s just because you don’t do well in school, then that may be a problem.
