SAT Scores

I'm fairly pleased with my SAT score (2130; CR-660 M-680 and W-790). I don't want to retake the exam, but I'm wondering if it looks bad that there's such a large range between my individual scores? The same goes for my subject tests (literature: 780 math II: 670). Thanks!

Don’t worry about it. Some people are stronger in math than in writing or reading; you’re strongest in writing and literature. As long as you’re not planning to major in engineering, it’s fine.

You should be fine; you got impressive scores in all three sections. I’m not too worried about mine and have quite a bit of variation per section (my score is a lot lower than yours though, haha) (1980; CR-710 M-580 W-710). Math is always the killer for me, haha. Don’t sweat it.

Yay! Thanks :)

It totally depends on where you hope to go. Unfortunately most top schools don’t care much about the writing section so you have a 1340. While that is a good score it is well below the average score for non-hooked for the top schools. On the other hand if you are a recruited athlete you are fine.
