SAT Scores

Hi I'm going to apply to go to Pitt but I have a question. I was going to use the priority deadline but my SAT are bad (620 reading, 580 math, 560 writing), I took the SAT's this last Saturday and they become available the 28th of this month, I believe I did better; So i though of sending the application by the deadline (15th) and then uploading my new scores. But the application says that they give you the results in 21 days, are they still going to be able to get them on time after 13 days? ( are 21 weekdays , or do they count weekends?). Is it better to send it now with my scores, or apply in regular decision with the new scores ( that might be worse or better). I also thought that being Hispanic might help since their demographics show only a 2-3%. ( 3.9 Unweighted GPA, 4AP, 4 Honors)

I'm sorry if this was already covered or do not belongs her, I'm new here. Thank you

The only thing the “priority deadline” (I think you mean the Pitt Prestige Application?) does is give you that 3 week turnaround. Other than that, any time of year that you apply doesn’t make a difference. If you are not trying to get scholarship money, I would wait for the new scores to come in so that you know what they are before you submit everything. In the meanwhile, you could work on your essays, get LoRs from teachers, and compile your resume of activities.
