wow im posting a lot in one night… sorry guys lol
so what sat score should i have to make it worth sending in? also do they consider subject test scores?

the lady i interviewed with who had been an admissions officer at bowdoin for like 20 years or something said that generally if you have high 600s then submit them. The wont hurt you and the wont get you in on those scores alone. but it is just another thing in your file to show that you are the type of student that bowdoin would be favorable towards accepting.
she also said that subject test scores above 700s would help so submit them as well

Testing for the Class of 2012 (for those who submitted testing):

SAT Critical Reading SAT Math ACT
Median
700 700 31
Middle 50% 650-760 650-750 29-33

thats crazyyyyyy! so 25% had over 760 on the sections? oh man...

that's only the people who submitted their scores, though, and they probably score higher than people who don't submit any.

wondering whether thesaraness connotes royalty?

it's important to note, though, that when scores are submitted, they're compared against the 75%+ of applicants who submit and not applicants who don't. so while bowdoin's entire class may have an SAT average less than their reported median, for the purposes of applicants deciding whether or not to submit, the median reported should be the benchmark.

LOL wow i didnt even realize my username could imply royalty. not meant that way at all..just random pretty much
