I sent my score for free after my October test, but it says in my app status that they haven't received it yet. I'm so nervous! Anybody applied ED? Did they get your scores?
I checked all my tests, including the Nov and Dec scores, surely they wouldn't wait unyil the Dec scores come out to send them, would they?

Yes, I also wrote in October and used the free scores and they received mine.

When you say Nov and Dec, do you mean Nov and Dec of THIS YEAR? Then, they will only receive your scores AFTER you get the results of the Dec test, which is around the 23rd of Dec. Definitely after the ED decisions are out.

Call them and find out what to do - perhaps send rush scores of all the scores you have until now? Call them and find out what their policy of rushing scores is. Otherwise, I’m afraid to say, your application may not have been reviewed because they haven’t received your scores.

NO! Don’t rush your scores to NYU! When you rush scores, they send it by paper… and NYU receives their scores electronically every day. It’s on their website somewhere… Just send the scores you have up until now “normally” and NYU should receive them :)

I rushed my scores and they got it fine

Ok well the NYU website suggests that you don’t rush it…

" Please do not use the “Rush Report” option to have a paper copy of your SAT scores sent. We receive daily electronic transmissions of SAT scores, which enables us to update your application automatically and far more quickly than we are able to do if we receive paper score reports." - [Standardized Tests](<a href=“How to Apply”>How to Apply)

besides you’re just paying more for them to rush your report when it isn’t necessarily quicker :D

But when I was sending the scores the Nov and Dec boxes were automatically checked and it was unchangable in a grayish color. does that still mean that I have to send them again?

Yes, and you cannot use the free reports. You must click on the “Send Additional Reports” somewhere in yellow at the bottom of the screen.

Okay, I’ll do that as soon as CB come back from maintainance. Thanks!
