So far after reading post after post I have concluded:
Blue Book (practice tests)
Gruber's Complete SAT Guide 2008 (Math)
The Rocket Review Revolution (Critical Reading/Writing)
Vocabulary?!?
I need a solid book for learning crucial vocabulary. A book that has worked well in the past for you. Any suggestions, stories, or revisions of my current list are welcome.
Thanks to all

Just use the vocab sections from the books you're already buying.

Good question. I just got back my delayed May scores and now I have to raise my CR score. The Princeton Review Hit Parade and Barron's Hot Words are solid choices. I just received a copy of Direct Hits Vocabulary. It looks good. Examples are funny.

where can i find the hit parade?

^
In Princeton review.

The hit parade is in Cracking the SAT.

I would also suggest making flashcards. 3x5 cards are cheap and if you write the words and their meanings down, you can learn them a lot faster. My English teacher said it takes 3 exposures to a new word to commit it to memory. Well, that works for other things too, like important dates in history, but it definitely helps with vocab!

The Hit Parade is in PR's Cracking the SAT
Hot Words can be ordered online at Barrons Educational Books
