SAT Studying

I am a Junior.

I have SAT on may 3rd(eek!).

I have been trying to study for quite a while..however...I'm so frustrated with math.

And I am aware it's on topics that were previously taught to me before..

Or well somewhat taught since teachers I had did not really teach at all(with exception of freshman teacher--she was good)

My goal is 1900+ at least for GeorgiaTech and UGA. x_X And scholarship opportunities...

I am using a collegeboard study guide book that my sis used back in 2007

Barrons I heard is pretty good. Collegeboard study guide is fundamental so it’s good you have that.

A really useful strategy that you can do is print out standard answer sheets designed for any SAT (google it.). Highlight or circle the questions that you did wrong and want to look at in the future for reference after you’ve taken the practice tests. This will make it so easy just to look back, and by repetition you will master the repetitious elements of the SAT as well as how to not make careless mistakes.

Hi everyone! I just took my first practice test today (without any prep of any sort) and scored a 1700. This is really not what I expected as I plan to apply to some of the top US colleges. Is it realistic to improve my score by 300 - 400 points by the time I finally take it in November? Thanks.

It’s possible ^^, if you go tryhard fiend mode, then yeah.
