SAT Subject at Tufts??

Hi
Tufts is my dream school and I want to apply ED 1. However, I scored really low on the SAT Subject Test - 610 Bio and 760 Math II. My SAT I score is 1440 - 660 Reading, 780 Math. I am applying to the college of arts and science potentially as an international relations or political science major. Do I have a shot at Tufts for ED??
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Not enough info.
Obviously math scores are fine; others are underwhelming.
You say nothing about the rest of the picture.

It’s hard to give you a straight answer because as WCASParent said, there isn’t enough information. Test scores only account for about 1/6 of your application. Where is GPA? Where are your extracurriculars? Try to add more information without revealing your identity.

For the matter of your scores: Math 2 is fine. However, Biology is really low and SAT I could be higher.

It may be worth giving the ACT a shot (late registration for Sep test ends tomorrow). You are not required to submit SAT2 scores if you submit the ACT, and you may do a bit better on it.

Admissions are in the eye of the “admissions board”. My son just graduated with a Biology degree from Tufts. He is from the west coast, non-minority group, had good grades and ECs with genuine volunteer work. On a 2400 SAT format got 1700 total and still got in. Just some encouragement that stand alone scores are not the deciding factor. Tell your story, if it is genuine and a good fit, you get in. If not, it is better to go elsewhere. Also, the image of any school before enrolling and after completion are much different - just be realistic in all schools as they are probably better in many ways and worse in many ways than you will ever know until experienced. Just words of experience from one who has been there. Tufts was a great experience for our son, but it took a couple of years to adjust. He has a great job!
