SAT Subject Scores enough for top colleges?

Hey everyone,

So I am getting ready to apply to college and am looking for applying to some of the top schools. I have a 2340 SAT (750 CR: 800 M: 790 W), and a 750 in Chemistry and an 800 in Math Level 2 for the SAT Subject Tests. For the Ivy League schools and Stanford, would you recommend taking another SAT 2 (for example, I was considering taking physics) and aiming to get higher than a 750 on that? I’m worried that the 750 is too low of a score, but I am also not sure how much weight colleges place on the SAT 2 subject tests. I could study to take another test in October, but I am hesitant as the time might be better spent working on polishing my applications and getting the best first quarter grades that I can.
Any help would be very much appreciated!!!

No. You have 2 great scores. Time to move on and focus your energies on other aspects of your application, like your essays. Good luck.

If it makes you feel any better I had 750 in Chem and 760 in Math 2 (and a 2300 SAT) and I was able to make GIT and Cornell despite some of the posts here that claim you absolutely NEED 770+ to get into certain schools. That may be true for, say Caltech (only because 100% of their accepted students have 800 in Math 2 every year), but the overwhelming majority no. 700+ is a good score.
